speaking of the president’s (or perhaps it is the first lady’s) Victory Garden, the pesticide industry/lobby “shudders” at the idea that it is organic. you can read a little more here.

I think those victory gardens were the inspiration for the President’s garden at the White House. Now I have a picture in my head of Mr. Obama singing as he “returns with the harvest!” Thanks for the historical – and biblical – perspective.

Inspiring. It brought back memories of the “Victory Gardens” during WWII. Vacant lots were turned into food production gardens. Go for it! “They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.” Ps 126:6
