actually new york’s recycling is a bit better than chicago. there is at least a residential program (that still has much left to be desired). there is no commercial program… so i drag my cans to the market across the street. and then there is san francisco… where sarah (at work at least) is REQUIRED to compost, and plastic bags are banned. actually when she has a chance it’d be interesting to hear about her composting setup in a very urban (under the transamerica tower) setting.

Well, I’m not sure I’ll plant the “huge pumpkins up to 70″ around” in the same patch as the pie pumpkin seeds you gave me. Also, you’ll need to get us some recipes for the sweet dumpling squash.

so you will have tiny pumpkins amongst the huge! don’t let the fat ones sit on the pie pumpkins…
i will have to call you to get some tips about planting. last year i just let the squirrels do it for me. maybe i would help if i gave it a shot myself.

remember me and heights… no tree climbing! I don’t honestly remember how I was elevated for that wide-angle shot. Maybe there is a hill there or something. Maybe I ought to take a drive to Westmont & see the park.
